“All Sauced Up” BBQ Contest

Power Haus Sports is excited to announce we are putting together our very first BBQ Contest. We are very excited for this event. This will be a fun day for everyone. The competitors will be setting up and starting to cook by 6:00 am. There will be three foods that will be judged; chicken, ribs and pork butt. The cumulative winners will be awarded prize money and trophies.

We are proud to have Schneider’s Quality Meats out at the event as well. They will be setting up a tent and selling their delicious food. We will be serving beer and other drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Around noon there will be a corn hole tournament for anyone 18+. The payout will be based on the amount of teams in the tournament. Also, the style of tournament play will be based on the number of teams.

Between 5:00-5:30 pm, there will be a “Popular Vote” for pork butt. Each team will be given small serving cups and will fill them with a sample of their pork butt. EVERYONE is welcome to walk around and try the tasty pork. To vote for your favorite team, you will put $1 into a jar that will be located at each team’s stand. At 5:30 the votes will be counted and the winner of the “Popular Vote” will be announced.
